Nikki Foley

This designer has worked with Irish Quilting on projects past and present. In 2010 year she kindly takes to the road to join us on our panel meetings. Nikki is a business woman, designer, quilter and mum to six boys and still manages time to give back to the quilting community. Producing a fervent buzz of all things quilting in County Kerry, Nikki owns The Sewing Shed in Co. Kerry. She plays a vital role in guiding the magazine, articulating what her quilting colleagues and students want to see and read. Nikki lives in Keel, Co. Kerry with her partner and five youngest sons.

Sonnie Cridge

Sonnie is a 21-year-old quilter currently living in Ireland, and descends from generations of quilters and seamstresses. While fashion primarily comprises her background in the arts, quilting has become a new-found love for Sonnie.
Well aware of fashion and trends, Sonnie helps our panel review our content for the new fresh and diversified interests of all quilters.

Rachel Griffith

We are delighted to have a North American representative on the panel, Rachel Griffith. Beyond her quilting endeavors, she is an avid blogger and very active in the online quilting community. As such, Rachel has followed the magazine since our birth and before. Rachel is a talented designer and she cooks up her designs regularly in the Moda Bakeshop. Rachel lives in Ohio with her husband and three children and kindly chimes in (via internet Skype) at all hours of the day for our panel meetings! Visit her blog at www.psiquilt.com.

Karen Maxwell

Karen is a talented quilter and designer from Northern Ireland. Always keen to sew, Karen recently took her designs and talent to a new level by attending Belfast Metropolitan College, where she completed Level 3 City and Guilds in Patchwork and Quilting. Karen has recently set up her business, Lisnaweary Quilts, designing patchwork and craft patterns. The year 2010 holds much for Karen with her teaching and designing; we’re grateful to have her onboard.
Karen lives in the lovely Clogher Valley, Co. Tyrone, with her husband, four children, and their dog and cat.

Gwenda McInerney

Originally from Galway city, chair of the Eastern Branch of the Irish Patchwork Society, Gwenda keeps busy with quilting on all fronts. She is an avid quilter for the last number of years and enjoys travelling and attending workshops learning new techniques. She is in her 2nd year of City & Guilds certificate course in creative design in patchwork. She feels she was born with a needle of some description in her hand, as she has always been involved in needlecraft. Gwenda comes to the panel with experience and openness for discussion, making a review session vitally valuable. Gwenda lives in Dublin with her husband and dog.

Cathi O’Neill

Cathi is a quilter, knitter an all-around craft enthusiast. She lives in on the Clare and Tipperary border with husband and two young daughters. Cathi is an avid blogger in the online quilting community with her blog, http://cathicrafts.wordpress.com. She excels in hand quilting of many of her projects, including a 92”square Dear Jane, pieced, quilted and binded by hand!
